A half day workshop, for current board members who are facing disruption in their industries due to the fast-paced changing of technology.
The increasingly digital economy demands that boards have a swift understanding of the structure and economics of their business and, in particular, how it can create value. Data has become the most valuable source for competitive advantage and for Board engagement with management teams. Despite the underlying technologies, the leadership requirements transcend any specific domain knowledge – and is the key to digital transformation.
Keynote speakers include Daniela Florea, Cambridge Strategic Management, Steve Playford, FT Career Management, and Lesley Stephenson, FT Non-Executive Directors' Club.
This practical course will lead participants through the principles, pre-requisites, approaches, and techniques of driving digital transformation. In addition, inspiration from organisations across sectors will be provided.
The participants will also carry out a self-assessment of the current state of key processes in their own organisation; by the end of the course, they will have an initial diagnosis of fitness for the digital economy and a plan for relevant actions.
The course is highly interactive and action-oriented. Cost £375+VAT
