Trustees' Week

This November, we are proud to be involved with Trustees’ Week organised by the Charity Commission, and supported by a vast range of organisations.

  • Does your trust have an inspiring and innovative board? Share your story!
  • Have your colleagues gained more skills and confidence from their trustee experience? Tweet us!
  • Are you looking for a new challenge in your career? Become a trustee!
  • Do you know someone who could bring their expertise to a multi-academy trust? Recommend a friend!

13th – 17th November is Trustees' Week celebrating good governance in charities and remarkable trustees. To celebrate the fantastic and inspiring work of trustees we are joining together to demonstrate the value and impact of people from all walks of life who get involved and make a difference.
At Academy Ambassadors, we are building better trust boards because we believe that combining inspirational educationalists and talented business leaders can provide a better future for the next generation.

What our current trustees, trusts and partners say about the value Academy Ambassadors brings them:

“Academy Ambassadors does an outstanding job in securing experienced business leaders and professionals to join multi-academy trust  boards in the South West. Feedback from our MATs has been excellent, on the service provided by Academy Ambassadors, and on the strength, challenge and support that non-executive directors have been able to bring to their boards.”

Lisa Mannall, Regional Schools Commissioner – South West

"Educating the next generation is an invaluable element in all our futures.  It is therefore a great honour to be given the opportunity to make a difference to our children's future and ensure we provide an education where all individuals can reach their potential.  The friendly & supportive approach at Academy Ambassadors ensure your strengths and skills complement the needs of the trust and they provide fantastic resources to assist you in preparing for the role ahead."

Helen Mannion, Head of Business Intelligence, GiffGaff

"Corporate Britain has a huge role to play in education and particularly in bringing leadership skills and experience to academy trusts. There are hundreds more academy trusts who need that business drive and acumen on their boards: I encourage academy trusts and business leaders to come together through Academy Ambassadors."

Paul Marshall, Chair, Ark Schools
