Academy Ambassadors secures funding for the next two years

The Department for Education grant announcement in March 2018 gives Academy Ambassadors funding security to provide board recruitment to multi-academy trusts across the country for at least the next two years.

Academy Ambassadors has appointed 912 non-executive directors to multi-academy trusts, since the programme began in 2013. Our priority will be to continue helping the boards of multi-academy trusts recruit the highest calibre business professionals, particularly those trusts in England’s most disadvantaged areas, doing what we can to provide the next generation with the best possible future.

“I can, without hesitation, recommend the effectiveness of Academy Ambassadors. Building from our original board requirements, the candidates shortlisted, introduced and eventually recruited to our trustees have all been an excellent fit. They have helped ensure our board is fully able to challenge and support the work of the LEARNERs Trust. They have been professional, efficient and successful.”
